After a decade working with large tree trimming companies and being dissatisfied for the 'chop and drop'' mentality that left trees looking unattractive and causing future dangers, founder Allen Aswood had enough and created Astwood Tree Surgery.

We have a huge oak tree in our backyard. Much loved and played on by our children and grandchildren. After loseing several branches during a storm we called serveral tree companies to come and advise us on the best course of action. 3 said the tree needed to be removed. Allen came out and took over an hour to educate us on what was going on with the tree and gave us great news, the tree didn't need to be removed! We were so impressed with his knowlage and professionalism we hired him on the spot. 3 days late our tree looked amazing, 7 years later the tree is still doing great.
